Pole is Practice and Perseverance!

Since beginning my pole journey in 2012, I have found a mental strength I didn’t know I possessed and amazing friends I can’t live without. I found that the women in the pole dance community are strong and they each have their own story to tell. The tell their stories through their movement, fueled by their desires to push through their own emotional barriers. This is why I chose to become a pole instructor. I want to help my students navigate the choppy but always exciting waters on their journey of becoming the best they can be, both inside and out. I began competing almost immediately after starting pole and love that training for a competition forces me to set and achieve goals while advancing my practice and technique. My first year on the Premier Pole Competition Team, I was able to win the silver medal in my category and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. It’s this gratifying feeling of accomplishment earned through practice and perseverance that I strive to share with my students.
